The "UN" Faithful Americans?

What in the crap is this? FaithfulAmerica.Org

Is this supposed to be a Christian Organization? I am kind of confused. According to their site, they adhere to the following.

In Their own words:

Faithful America is an online community of tens of thousands of citizens motivated by faith to take action on the pressing moral issues of our time. We come from diverse faith traditions but share a unifying commitment: to restore community and uphold the common good in America and across the globe. In service to this core commitment, we seek to:

* end poverty and promote economic security for all
* promote peace and restore America's commitment to human rights and diplomacy

* prevent the catastrophic effects of climate change

* counter hate speech and misinformation in the media pertaining to people of faith

* work for welcoming communities where immigrants and people of all faiths are welcome

I am all for Churches working to end poverty and promote economic security for all. Let start with the end of poverty and economic security here in America first before we go "helping" everyone else. I am not saying' "don't take that mission trip to Haiti" to help out there. But start helping out in your "community". There is a word for all of you "community" activist's. Help the needy in you "community". Promote economic security in your "community" before you try and solve the rest of the worlds problems.

Promote peace (all for that) and restore America's commitment to human rights and diplomacy (o.k). I am all for the promotion of peace, but peace is never going to happen. You have too many people that force their own wills onto other for that to ever be a realistic option. Weither it is the thug that wants your stuff and is willing to force you to give it to him or break into your house and steal it. Or the "world leader" that forces nationalized health-care on to the backs of a majority that don't want it.

America's commitment to human rights? I didn't think we had strayed from our commitment to human rights. Is not "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" spelled out in the Constitution? People still have their rights set forth by the Constitution and the exercise those rights everyday. I can think of one. Minister King Samir Shabazz said, "You want freedom? You're gonna have to kill some crackers! You're gonna have to kill some of their babies!" Now if a man can say that and not have to worry about the "man" coming down on him for hate speech, then I guess it's o.k. for me to say, "if you try and kill my cracker babies, I will choke you to death with your own hands". Oh wait, I guess since the "man" is Obama, Mr. Minister King Samir Shabazz has nothing to worry about. I mean this current version of America is great. Free housing, free food, free health-care... what else do you need?

Prevent the Catastrophic effects of climate change. Exactly how are you going to do that? Lets hook up with Brother Al Gore and buy some of his Carbon Credits. Maybe that will work. I heard someone say once, "If Al Gore was alive 600 years ago he would be saying, we have to fight the effects of man made global rounding." (The earth is flat, global rounding, get it.... oh never-mind). Humans have no control over the climate. Humans are just a speck on the rump of the universe. Deal with it and quit wasting taxpayers money trying to solve the unsolvable.

Counter hate speech and misinformation in the media pertaining to people of faith. I will refer you to the comment above about His holyness Mr. Minister King Samir Shabazz. How are you countering him? I am sure the "crackers" and the "babies of the crackers" are people of faith too. I would consider Dr. Grand Pooba His holyness Mr. Minister King Samir Shabazzs comments hateful at the least. I don't see anyone condemning it.... other than normal everyday people that haven't drank the cool aid yet.

Working for welcoming communities where immigrants and people of all faiths are welcome. Exactly what in the crap does that mean? Are we promoting illegal immigration? Are we promoting sanctuary cities where illegal immigrants can hide and suck off of American Tax Payers? Politicians have not done anything to remedy this problem. I would love to pull over a illegal immigrant and have him or her produce a valid drivers license. One that he got through the state. With his or her real name, DOB, etc..... That's a start. And give them a way to become citizens if the want it. And if they don't want to be citizens, send them back.

M~
